Meet The Family

Funeral Director Ed Brunskill

Edward Brunskill Dip.FD has almost 30 years experience in funeral service. Starting as an apprentice with Andrew Holmes & Sons Funeral Directors, another family business in 1994, when he was just 18, he soon progressed to obtain the National Association of Funeral Directors Diploma, and went on over the years to manage medium to large funeral homes with multiple sites and staff across London. Edward has built up a range of contacts, experience and knowledge in the funeral world.

Edward has a wealth of experience in funeral service, and has come back to do what he loves most, guiding and supporting families first hand. Launching his own small family business. Ed is superb at ensuring your journey with us from the first meet, to the arrangement and then the funeral is as smooth and as worry or trouble free.

Josh Brunskill Funeral Director
Joshua Brunskill Cert FAA, Edwards first son, has been raised up around funerals and the business and has now taken the plunge into the full time life of an Assistant Funeral Director, it really is in his blood. From his early teens, and even younger years, Josh has been keen to always get involved from being just a broom boy in the coffin workshop when his dad was in the office, cleaning ceremonial cars to caring for families on ceremonies across London. Gaining so much valuable experience along his way.

Having passed his Certificate for Arranging and Administration at the age of just 18, Josh is showing promising signs that his knowledge and ability to help bereaved families will be so valuable. He is keen to ensure, much like his father, every step of the way can be made as smooth as possible for you in such a difficult time.

My Funeral Wishes

Do you have a favourite song or track you really love and would want to be played, or a favourite poem or reading?
If so, which ones and who would you like to read it?

Perhaps there is a particular route you would like your hearse to take?

By taking the initiative and setting out what you want now, you can get on with living your life, knowing that when the time comes your loved ones will know what you wanted and be spared from having to make difficult decisions.

To help you do this, Dying Matters and the National Association of Funeral Directors have produced ‘My Funeral Wishes’. It’s a simple form which lets you create a personal funeral plan that reflects you as an individual. We will be glad to advise and talk anything over with you no matter how big or small. We can then also hold a copy of the form and help your family and friends fulfil your wishes when the time comes.
